I, for one, am overly weary of headlines beginning with the words “Obama says”.  It has been over a year now, can’t they find another wording yet?  Perhaps someone needs to inform the news services that he has failed to come through as the dark overlord messiah. ~shrug  It’s nearing annoyance levels.  I don’t know anyone whose heart stops beating waiting for the feller to speak.

Anyway.  The ruling.  Takes out the unions as the big money political voices.  Expect much screaming and wailing from their direction.  And, laugh it off.  They’re useless boobs.

This one term man is building himself quite a legacy.  Ah well.  It’ll all be worth it if we can set this country back on the right path.  And, that means informing the Republicans we’ve had enough of their shit as well.  Going the wrong direction is going the wrong direction… speed does not matter one iota.

It snowed last night.  Not much, just enough to almost make the ground white.  Where is this warming stuff I keep hearing about?  Why can’t I grow olives here?  I want to grow olives, dangit!

In case it’s not obvious, I don’t buy into AGW.  I never have bought into the claims of “global warming”.  Neither did I buy into the claims of a coming “ice age” some years beforehand.  These so-called “scientists” appear to be … short bus riders.  I mean, really.  This rock we live on… it has weather cycles.  We humans have not existed on this rock long enough to understand those cycles.  We humans are teensy little fleas, on this rock.  To believe that we can change the weather… by accident or by force, requires a God-sized ego.  Honestly people, we are NOT all that. lol

We may or may not be entering a warming period.  Frankly, I don’t think even the scare-mongers know.  They’ve certainly failed to report known historical climate activity reliably.  How can they predict the future when they deny history?  I may have failed to graduate high school in a timely manner, but even I can see that these fellows are clearly little more than scam artists.  And, perhaps that is the avenue that needs pressing with these imbeciles.  Threat of jail for fraud.

Anyone else see this choice looming on the horizon? And no, I’m not talking about any foreign entity. This has been brewing domestically for a long, long time… and this President seems to want to force the decision up front, quickly. What say you? Are you mad as hell yet? Gonna take anymore? How much more is there to take, anyway?

I don’t understand the sheeple who want to enslave themselves to the government by way of “healthcare”. But, I’m all for them selling their souls to Uncle Sugar to get their “healthcare”, if that’s what they wish. I hope they get what they want, in spades. They don’t have the right to sell my soul though, nor anyone else’s who doesn’t wish to take their road. All I want out of the deal is a good set of earplugs. I’ll buy them myself, thanks. When the soulless, feeble-minded, aged, unhealthy morons start howling about their “end of life counseling”, per Uncle Sugar… I don’t want to hear it. I have my own people to tend to. Take care what you wish for.

Can we split the country in two? Those who need their Uncle Sugar crutch over *there*… those who can provide for themselves and their own *here*? Please? Bah. It’d never work. We really must destroy this two party dictatorship though.

Boundless Ignorance versus Self-Government

Voters may understand government power less because the topic is vanishing from official addresses: “References to legal and judicial terms have taken a sharp fall since around William Howard Taft, as have references to the tools and forms of formal power.” Instead, the message is that the president cares about the voter.
